    Webster D. McBride joins the firm from the New York office of Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, by way of a clerkship with the Hon. Stewart D. Aaron of the Southern District of New York.

    Webster focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes, including within the art world. He represents galleries, investors, artists, auction houses, museums, and individual and institutional collectors, and he has litigated such high-profile matters as the Knoedler art forgery scandal, the Princie Diamond dispute, the Manhattan D.A.’s “Operation Hidden Idol,” and the international art fraud perpetrated by Inigo Philbrick.

    Webster received his J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he served as Senior Executive Editor of the Law Review, and his B.A. from Yale University.

    Maria Angela Brusco previously worked in the New York office of White & Case LLP before clerking for Hon. Paul J. Kelly, Jr. of the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

    She has litigated complex commercial cases, in both federal and state courts, on behalf of corporations, middle-market businesses, startups, and individuals. She also has experience in transactional law in capital markets and technology transactions.

    Maria received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law, where she was on the Law Review and the Moot Court Board, and her B.A. from Wellesley College.
